I was following this tut on preloader transitions:

and I’ve run into a little snag.
Instead of the main movie loading an external swf (as in the tutorial) I’ve modified it slightly so that my main movie (containing the main navigation) loads an external swf (containing a subnav) that loads more external swfs which correspond to that sub nav.
Everything is working except the sub nav swf won’t load the initial sub sub swf. It’s a little hard to explain, so I’ve uploaded a quick mock-up with supporting files to better illustrate my dilemma:
