I’m working on a projekt, where I need to have a drag and drop function, and its a littel too advanced for me to create!!!
What I need to do is this:
On my layout I have a “screen” next to this screen I have some thumbnails. I need to be able to drag these thumbnails onto my screen, and on release, an empty MC will load and external swf into the screen. If the thumbnail is dropped outside the screen, it needs to snap back into its place.
Here is the main problem:
The proportions of these SWF are not the same. So for eksample if the dragged thumbnail is “widescreen” and the screen where the loaded movie will display, is “standing up”, the screen first needs to make a 90 degree rotation, before the clip is loaded, and the other way around of course!
If any of u guys can tell me in what direction I need to go or direct me to a tutorial that can help me with this, it would be great! I’m not the most experienced in actionscript, so a source file would be the best, so I can see for myself how the code works!
I have attached my .fla, so u can se the basic layout! no code is added at this point, the layout is set, so if any of u would like to add some code, feel free to do so!!
