Hello dear kirupa community.
To start i would like to apologies if i am posting/asking this in the wrong section/forum.
The question is:
For school we are working on a project for a non existing clothing company.
They want a dress up widget for there customers to see how clothing would “fit” them.
Now the main problem is. Everything has to be scripted in AS3.0
At school they are teaching us that by using Flash Develop.
But after 5 weeks we have only learned how to load in a jpg and make it move. The project needs to be done 3 weeks from now.
It is possible to create this in Adobe flash. I have a bit more experience in Adobe flash with AS2.0 so i kind of know the environment, but it NEEDS! to be scripted in AS3.0.
The dress up widget should look a bit like this

The user gets an option Dame (lady) or heer (man)
After the users picks his gender the male or female avatar get loaded in
My question: how would i script something like this. Would it need to preload from another file or?

This is how the screen should look when the user is not navigation over elements in the program

These are all elements available for the user to interact with.
On the left side you see a red box. In that box the clothing will be displayed.
Next to the avatar you see arrow’s. These arrows are used to navigate trough the clothing (hoping you get my point).
On the right side there snapshots of the avatar have to appear (more in image 5)
Below you see Main. This has to take the widget back to the gender slection screen.
Next to that are 4 boxes. These boxes have to load a background image
And then you have the reset which brings the avatar back to default clothing

Here you see the user scrolling down for a hairstyle.
Each time a new hairstile gets picked it will show on the avatar how it will look like

Same as with the hair scrollen. The user can also scroll trough the upper cloths. When the user likes his selection he can make a snapshot of the avatar which will appear on the right side of the screen. The user can then continue to match other clothes
I am not asking for anyone to build this
All that i am asking if help into where i can find information (tutorials) into how i would be able to make this myself
I have a 3 week deadline posting as of today
