Greetings all!
I’ve been messing around with the slideshow tutorial and have run into a small glitch. I’ve replicated everything as outlined in the tutorial… actionscript, buttons, XML, etc. I then modified the XML file to pull book covers from an online catalog (i.e. different URLs). The problem is the slideshow seems to load every other image. The slideshow starts out with image 1 and it’s description, image 2 never loads (the description loads), and number 3 loads. Is it a problem with the preloader variables? The only thing I modified was the XML image URLs, everything is untouched.
I’ll admit my ActionScript is a bit rusty and normally I can noodle bugs out, but this one has me stumped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
