I’m working on a website in Flash 8, but I have encountered a problem.
I decided to cut down the file size [and hence the load time] by including some external swfs containing the various categories of the site. I had no problem making MC holders which load external data, but when I include the MC in my website itself I had some problems.
At first, I used the loadMovie script on the MC but that doesn’t work, so I experimented with the loadMovieNum script, loading it into a level, which works, but now I have the movie positioned on the left corner instead of the MC loader box which I created.

Is there a way I can use loadMovieNum script, so that it can be perfectly positioned in the box I made? **
Also, I tried out some behaviors on the box symbol, which when pressed or rolled over by the cursor, will load the external swf. The swf will load but you will need to position the centre of the box symbol to where you want the swf to appear. Is there a way I can use behaviours instead, but without the button-like events, so its loaded without anything causing it to load?
Please help! I’ve been killing my brain looking for a solution to this.
