Hello Everyone –
This is my first post! I’m a Flash novice, and I’m making a website for myself. On my home page, I have 4 large buttons (About, Portfolio, Services, Contact) that animate in for about 5 second and stop. The rest of the site’s navigation will look different (smaller) from the home page’s.
What I want to do is when you click a button (example: About) it would animate the change from home’s navigation, to the navigation as it would be seen on the other pages, and stop Then load the selected swf (example: about.swf) on level 2.
How do I have the timeline play the “animate out” and have it load the selected shockwave file? I’m sure it involves actionscripting, but when I look for tutorials I don’t even know what to look for to learn that (variables, etc.). If someone could help me out, I’d appreciate it. Please keep in mind I’m not well versed in actionscripting, but I’m willing to learn.
If I haven’t explained myself well, I could send you the flash file to better understand what I’m trying to do.
