I am kinda new to this whole flash thing. So this may be an obvious request, that most of you more experty than me would know.
I have made a website that is entirely flash. It has buttons you can press, that with actionscript will show different parts of the site (like you where going to a different section of a website with HTML)
This website has been very helpful in my understanding as a beginner of flash. I was looking at the tutorials and I found the one about the photo gallery that I rather liked, so I did some of my own modifiing and made it into something that I like.
So, on my flash site, I have a button that takes you to the photo section. What I have a question about is this:
When I click that button, I want the other movie (the photo gallery that I made) to load into the space where I want it to appear. Now I found this website that loads an external swf file into another. http://www.informit.com/guides/content.asp?g=flash&seqNum=175
But when it loads into the movie, it loads into the top lefthand corner and I cant get it to load where I want.
Is this the right approach to put another movie, within a movie?
If not, could someone show me what is?
