Here’s another one. what I’m trying to do is seamlessly scroll the satin graphics in my interface from right to left - I would also like to eventually have that occur while the satin closes like a window on the black part of my stage. can anyone help me out with this? Let me know.
Hi Kelly, I’m not quite sure if this is the same effect you’re looking for, but here’s a tutorial for the infinite menu. You can apply the concept to your satin graphics. I have to warn you though, what you’re trying to achieve will be really harsh on the viewer’s computer processors if the animation is going to be playing constantly. Especially when you have other content that is going to load into the black section. It might cause undesired lagging on some slower computers. I hope the tutorial is what you’re looking for. :-\ Here’s the link.
Thanks for your help. I will try it out and see if it works. Also, the satin is only going to move while it’s part of the intro. Once the intro has ceased it will be part of the static interface. Also the tutorial has the infinate menu speed up and change directions with the mouse - that is something I don’t want. Do you know how to make it not do that? Let me know.
If thats the case then why don’t you just add more satin to both sides of the image on the stage like make a copy of it and place it on both ends and just have it tween left or right. Theres no need for the infinite menu then. =)
Thanks for the advice. We’ll see what happens. Hey while I’m at it would you mind helping me out with another issue? If you can go to this site, look at their intro and let me know if you know how to acheive the effect they have there. I would really appreciate it.
