I just grabbed this off a file of mine so it probably has a lot of extra junk you don’t need. Notice it passes the background color and dimensions and such.

you can also copy the embedded code off of a published flash web page.

but where would i put the file name? is that main.swf? what if it is an URL instead of “main.swf”

yes, main.swf was the name of my own file so you have to replace it with your own. :slight_smile:

I thought you wanted to put the link to a swf inside an html page? If you just want to link to another html page then use <a href> right? :h:

lol i mean if you didnt have that SWF uploaded but it was on another site so you could type the SWF url in place of it–

okay, if it helps, i work on geocities Advanced HTML editor and the tag i am doin is:

maybe the width and height are affecting it? wha? weird?

i copy+pasted the code and changed the “main.swf” to my file but i didn’t change the NAME “main” to my file— geeez anyway, G2g
