Hey hey! What games are y'all currently playing?

Final Fantasy Tactics on my spanking new GBS sp.

It’s looking pretty good so far, should keep me occupied on my daily commute.

Hide the Salami with the girl I met in the supermarket. Must dash I think she found it

**What? I’ve got Halo and it r0x0rz… it runs fine on my PC.

Admittedly it doesn’t run perfectly, but it uses all the features of DX9. GFX cards that only support DX8/partial DX9 don’t run it very well. My Radeon 9200 Pro runs it to a very playable standard with good -ish graphics.

Apparently it runs very very well on Radeon 9700s and up :thumb:

Anyway, I got Pro Evolution Soccer 3 for PS2, but I’m probably gonna swap it bac k for the PC version.

And as well, I gotta remember to redownload America’s Army :stuck_out_tongue: **
yeah, they didn’t code it very well - seems to run well on ATI, but not on GeForce. If you go to amazon, you’ll see LOTS of people with amazing spec PCs complaining that it runs horribly… Which is a complete biyatch. Eilsoe, I’ve only played one or two levels of it on xbox, so I can’t say I’ve noticed the slow down. What PC spec have you got? I’m kinda annoyed that I’ve had to turn then graphical features down quite a lot to get a good speed out of the game - that’s not what you buy a top-end PC for! :sure: Still, luckily it’s quite a good game eh?

Kit - how far are you in FFTA so far?

Aahhh… reclines …I think this forum is going to be my new home… :thumb:

UrbanTerror 3.1 a mob for Quake III
Warcraft III (I mean who dosn’t)
Diablo II + xpnsn L.O.D. (online very active)
Splitercell (got it for crismas)
Gradia II (on the playstation II)

And the wierd thing is i actually played all these game to day. all of them. I started of with 2 hours of Gradia II them some urbanterror. after that Splitercell. Then got something to eat a round 12:00. Well after eating and building up some strength I got playing Diablo for 6 hours. (very adictive) Then some kirupa and then some WARIII then some more kirupa.

Super Mario World (SNES, Going for time/score records)
Super Mario World (Emulation)
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Halo PC (Buying tomarrow)

That’s pretty much it.
I think they have yet to release a better game than Super Mario World.

finished etm, playing nfs now, still havnt finish midnight club though :stuck_out_tongue: ; wnna play gta 5 when it comes out in 2004.

hahaha too bad my comps la bit lagging, (need 512mb, 2.8ghz or wtaeva and 128 ati raedon 9900 pro!! :P)

In nfs underground, is it better to change your car or is there no difference in keeping the car you have worked on. (this is underground mode). Like i have a civic sedan work to medium extreme, 5 popularity stars… so all is good, but are the other cars in trade in available faster, better?

Not too far in… I haven’t played it much yet what with also getting Knights of the Old Republic and Devil May Cry 2. Plus I’m re-playing FFVIII at the moment too. I’m about 3 - 4 hours in. Just got a complete 'mare of a mission come up where I have to destroy two machines but the law says I can’t ā€˜fight’. Magic only. Argh! :stuck_out_tongue:

Have you eaten slept or tasted air in the last 4 days?

oh, you got KotOR then, what do you think? I really like it… despite it not being all action… I can’t say I love the combat, but, its ok. And it runs so nicely on this pc

FFTA: Blimey, you’re pretty far in compared to me, I’ve been doing a lot of tinkering with my pc (as well as playing lots of Halo and Splinter Cell). My brother’s also been hogging my GBA because he can’t find his one! :sure:

Mine’s the XBox version rather than PC, but I have to say it’s pretty good. No problems running it since the machine spec doesn’t enter into the equation.

Just got my lightsabre a short while ago. :beam: It’s basically an RPG only in 3D rather than the typical environment…

Combat is… different. Awkward to get an angle right sometimes, though that could be just me. Still, I’m glad it’s not all action, that just gets boring (imho anyway  ) after a while.

As for tactics, I’ve just played another hour on it, and done a load more missions. New characters keep wanting to join me and I have lots of cool new weapons. :beam: Devoe and Marche are simply rocking at the moment.

Deus Ex: Invisible War (awesome game! i reccomend playing if you played the first)
KOTOR
Viewtiful Joe
Halo PC (replaying)
Halo Xbox (replaying)
Star Wars Galaxies
Unreal 2 XMP
Soul Calibur 2 gamecube
Animal Crossing
Metroid Prime (replaying)
Every Zelda game (replaying)

By the way, Halo owns all

see what I mean about the combat now? kinda… real-time turn-based… very strange. As for the angle - I didn’t think it mattered in the least - it’s turn based fgs :sure:

does it though? does it actually? I’m not so sure… :sigh:

No it doesn’t. I’ve got it and it’s just boring. Shoot this, shoot that, no mental activity required at all…

KotOR - The angle thing is probably just me. No matter where I stand, I always seem to end up with an enemy behind me hacking away at my health. :sure: Still, on the second planent and doing not too shabbily at the moment, so quite pleased.

And I’ve brought the GBA to work. There’s only 4 people in here, so there’s no chance of me doing much in the way of work… :stuck_out_tongue:

NFS underground is game that i am playin at the moment. its just HOTT… i have not dun that much of the game only just got the hyundai coupe!!.. but im addicted gonna play online for the first time today…wish me luck

I dunno, sometimes I’m quite in the mood for a brainless shooter (have you ever played Serious Sam 1 or 2? :D:D). I mean, there’s no doubt Halo is a great game: it’s pretty and it’s fun, but yes, it’s kinda repetitive. Ya just gotta love taking on whole squads of covenant troops though… bang bang

:thumb:

Currently I am playing…

Arc the Lad: Twilight of Spirits (PS2)
Soul Calibur 2 (PS2)
Earth and Beyond (PC)

I suppose I am going to have to break down and buy a Gamecube when they release the next FF game for it.

Cheers!
-Niann

Soul calibur 2 (GC)
Star wars : kotor (pc)
SSX3 (GC)
Call of duty (pc)

All gamecube for now -
