Hello, I’m looking for anybodies general tips that would help down the size of my flash files. I’ve seen amazing files that are unbelievably small in size. If anybody can offer hints as to how this is done please let me know. Right now I am using FlashMX 6.0. Thanks, Ryan.
well scripting motion instead of using frame tweens saves some space i think, also, i think embedding fonts takes up space. dynamically load text when you can, alpha tweens is pretty processor intensive so you can stay away from them if you want. Also, use external swf loading techniques to keep small file sizes.
there are some older threads covering this subject pretty well. Try the forum’s search feature and see if you can’t dig up some of that info
Alrighty Thank You! Ryan.
