I have a full flash site and have a Server Side Include counter on the index page. The counter is not displayed to the viewer, I just go to a private page on the site that keeps the count.
This index page loads the main swf. From there the main swf loads the various movies - just as a full Flash site should.
Is there a way to get Flash, not PHP, to record “hits” to the various loaded movies?
-For what it’s worth, my service provider is NOT very helpful. Just getting the SSI stuff out of him was difficult. The server hosting my site is an iMac running OS9 and WebStar. Surprisingly I do have physical access to the machine. (Can’t switch, or really complain too much as I’m getting it free!) SO, I’m not sure if PHP is possible or even how to go about using it.
