I have a movie within another movie, and i want to hitTest the movie within.
How would this be done?

lets say i made a movie,
then double clicked that movie.
while inside that movie i created another movie.
I want to hitTest the movie inside the other movie instance.
Hope this makes it easier…

Well not really…
I think your looking for movieClip.globalToLocal or movieClip.localToGlobal functions then do hitTest. But if they are two completely different movies mabey xml?!?!

Lemme try and get this straight… You wanna perform an action to a movie inside of a movie only after clicking that first movie?!
d00d… It can be done… But I think you are just overly troubling yourself with this whole thing… Or you are not explaining right…

if(_root.MC.hitTest(_root.MC.insideClip)){}
