Wow and people think blu-ray and hd-dvd is big

Insane:eek:

515 gigabits = 64.37500 gigabytes

I guess its still pretty good :stuck_out_tongue:

By the way, since its holographic storage, wouldn’t depth be a big factor? I’ve heard of this stuff before, I’m surprised its not measured by cubic inch or something :P.

Phlashman’s right. It’s awesome, but not to be like, “holy crap, there’s no way” about… if you know what I mean. :stuck_out_tongue:

It has a neat name, though.

■■■■. That’s nice.

… But I don’t think it’s a portable medium disk, is it? :frowning:

Well if you consider how many square inches theres in a CD thats some extreme storage space right there.

Psshhhhh, that’s nothing compared to my superhuman storage device composed of 18 chinese kids in the basement.

 ^^ that was funny…

 I had one of those before. All of them were on a FibreChannel RAID3 array, but the Parity kid only ever got Chinese whispers, so we had a bit of trouble rebuilding dead kids.

:sigh:
