I was giving critique to someone over in showcase and critiques on their hosting site when the thought struck me…how good does a hosting sites design actually have to be?
For instance here are 2 examples of hosting companies who really paid attention to their sites designs…
And the case for not concentrating too much on their design
The site is messy, cluttered, your eyes just bounce off the site and it is a mess. But GoDaddy are successful and one of the most well known and reliable hosting companies.
So, do hosting companies really need to care about their site design?
Is it all down to their prices and word of mouth?
Or is it a factor you consider when selecting?
Also any other industries where site design doesn’t effect the site too much?
