How do I . . .detect and browser re-direct for Player 6

Ok, my first ACTUAL .swf file is ready to publish to the web server but what is the best way to detect and redirect site visitors for Flash Player 6. Do I need to set up an index page that has links or is there an automatic way. how do I set something like this up? Yeah I know I could go a-hunting on google but you guys are the best!

I also found a plugin editor in my Adobe GoLive HTML editor. However - I will look at each one to see how they handle the .swf class.
