How do I do that?

Hello,

I am a bit new to flash, but advanced in photoshop. I would like to know how do I make a stroke on a picture without having to draw the whole thing bit by bit, like those animations where they start with an outline of the picture and then the whole picture shows up in color…
I have a pic of what i am trying to explain…
I didnt do this! I saw it on a website and I wanna do the same effect with my pictures.

You will have to draw it bit by bit. There’s no other way I’ve heard of… It’s easy to draw in Flash.

if it’s a two color image then you can trace it in flash (turns the bitmap into vector shapes; add the outline by using the fill line bucket tool and remove the fill) otherwise as the pic you posted youll have to do it bit by bit; check out Kit’s lineart/vector tut on Kirupa.com it is really helpful =)
