How do I make this bluring effect?

I was wondering how this bluring effect was created? Was it done in flash some how?

Check out this link http://www.homelanxtreme.com/, after the main part of the intro starts and the big X appears on the screen. it then exits the screen on the right and it looks like a motion blur is on it…does that make sense?

Anyways, I was wondering how they did that and whether or not it was done in flash?
