How do you make a game?

I’m going to make thos short and straight.
I have been really interested in making a game but the only thing thats missing is action script knowledge!!!
Could you give me some tips how to:

  • move a movie clip ( arrow up = clip goes down; arrow up=…etc.)
    -how to shoot( example: a plane shooting a beam)

Go and read some tutorials. Make some Movie clips. Move them around. Make some buttons. Move them around. Make the buttons do some stuff. Move the stuff around.
Read some tutorials.

The question you’re asking is too general. It’s a big subject. Fortunately there’s a lot of information out there.
Type “how to make a flash game” into google.
Go to <a href = “http://www.newgrounds.com”>Newgrounds</a>. Read their tutorials.

It depends entirely on what kind of game you’re trying to make. They aren’t easy. Could you give us some more details? :slight_smile:

well i mean like space invaders but no enemys(i guess its easier then) and that you can move back and forth
