Jasninder, I think the question was asking how many programs you usually have open at one time. (Unless you really do run all of those programs at the same time, but I doubt you do)
well it can be like programs you use like during the whole day.
Like During any normal day I wouldn’t use dreamweaver but I will always either have photoshop open and then later flash.
It doesn’t have to be in the same time but you use it alot.
email (thunderbird/evolution), text editor (jEdit/gedit), python console, music player (iTunes/Rhythmbox), Firefox… a game if I’m on windows

Frontpage is a good program, I used it when I went to my brothers house in New York.
He had FrontPage and he had photoshop, once I used it I got into it so I saved up money to buy it.
Now you know what got me into graphic design.
All the folders in windows are iexplorer …
So one who has folders up has iexplorer up
