How to build a discussion board in Flash MX

Hi! I´ve found the guestbook tutorial here at Kirupa. But now I´m looking for a tutorial about making a discussion board in Flash. Could someone help me with this?

Hey here’s a good tip… The guestbook can also act as a discussion board… Think about it!

I doubt you’ll find tutorial on that. I know parts of a fairly old book called PHP for Flash MX publish by Friends of Ed are devoted to creating a Flash discussion board. Also, I’m pretty sure you can get the source files too. And, I know Eyezberg has good knowledge on that topic, hope he gets to see this…

In the end of the day, I don’t see the point in having a Flash-based forum, but whatever floats your boat :slight_smile:

yeah I agree with Ahmed, I mean there are so many free php boards out there. if it’s a question of you trying to do it then your not going to find many tutorials on it, you’l have to leanr a lot on your own.
