I have an image of a sea shore, can anyone please help me animate this image with a simple waterwave effect when it reaches the seashore. I’ll appreciate if anyone can give me a step by step tutorial, I am just starting and know nothing but tweening.
well…i’m not too sure what u’re asking for. it also depends on how you’ve drawn your shore (ie what’s your style)
since nobody’s picked this up for awhile, and i did something like that recently, feel free to check out the attached file to see if it’s what you’re trying to get at, or perhaps try to get an idea for it:)
tweening is the key! that’s all you need. just manipulate it well and you’ll have yourself some pretty amazing effects.
don’t ask people to do it for you, figure it out yourself, at most with help from others, but that’s the way to learn;)
hsadan and Krilnon thanks for the reply and examples. What I’ve got is a real picture of the seashore and a smooth wave effect of a water that looks real is the one I am looking for. I am a real beginner with flash, if anyone have tried this maybe they can share their insights.
that would most likely take you more than just flash to create.
my guess is that you’ll have to create each frame (or at least certain keyframes) in photoshop, import it in and use alpha tweening to slowly fade from one image to the other.
