How To Erase Text

Anyone know how to erase text??

I am trying to do an effect where you erase text bit by bit…

Then reverse the frames and it looks like the text writes in…

Please let me know if you know how to do this…

try using masks…im not soo good with explaning though

You have to break it apart a couple of times first.

I find the masking easier.

the only way i can think of is to erase the text bit by bit…

Thanks for the link.
The answer is… you have to break the text apart twice…

Then erase it bit by bit putting each bit in a new frame…

then reverse the frames…
