How to put flash files together into a webpage?

Hi!

What I don’t understand is what I’m supposed to do within the .swf, and what I’m supposed to do with html.

Lets say I want to build a flash site with a menu which never reloads and which buttons open different “subpages”. Pretty much like a normal page.

  1. Should I do everything within flash (with the different “subpages”) and then embed this single file into a html startpage? Or should I make **different flash files **and then put them together with html, like frames? css Why should I choose this approach?

  2. Since there’s problems to make the text within a flash-movie searchable for search engines, could I use external textfiles, integrate css or something? Or how do I make the text searchable?
