Hello everyone!
Well, searching Kirupa did not turn up anything on this topic, so, well, here I am to ask.
Does anyone here use SE|PY or SciTEfor their actionscripting? They are both quite nice for editing actionscript code in the form of .as files.
Now, I am a bit of a newbie at this. Am I correct to think that one cannot REPLACE their Flash-script editor with one of these nicer, handier ones (or ANY other)? Am I correct to think that in order to use one of these external editors, you have to write the entire swf code in that editor, which includes the creation of any objects you want in the swf? I think this is much like C programming, or something of the like.
At the least I have provided a search-point for Kirupa-search to find SE|PY!
