HTML Publish Settings Error

I’m new to Flash, and thought that I would see if this forum could answer my question.

In Flash MX (on a PC) when I access the Publish settings and set the HTML setting to Detect for Flash"x" I receive the following error message. Does anyone know what it means?

“The HTML template for this document contains a tag which requires additional formats to be selected and published. Publish will proceed without creating this file. Publish will write the corresponding filename to the destination HTML file.”

If I try to publish after seeing this message, the resulting HTML file doesn’t work.

What gives?

Thanks for replying Mako.

But how can I use the “Detect for Flash x” feature then? I didn’t think that the “Flash Only” setting would check to ensure that the correct version of the Flash player was installed.

Thanks!
