i have a little home network that im running and im running into some problems with files dissapearing on me.
this is what happens, i have my main computer where all the files are stored. i have my laptop that i use around the house wirelessly and the files i want to edit,i pull them from the main computer through the network to my laptop.
now the problem is that, everything goes well and good until its time to save. soon as i hit save, an error message comes up and i cant save it. then i try to save to the laptops hd so thati can then copy it back through the network from my laptop to the desktop but i cannot save it that way either .
then the kiker is that when i give up and go to the main desktop to redo all the work i did on the laptop, the original file is then GONE COMPLETLY. no where to be found, not on the lap nor the desktop where it originally was.
any ideas as to whats happening?
