So I saw this in my news feed
And the things that jumped out at me were:
…he decries our reliance on monolithic social streams that prioritize image and meme sharing…
and the main message of:
…how much the hyperlink has been devalued, almost made obsolete.
So I figured, well we already have hyperlinks as images in the form of QR codes. Why don’t we start embedding them into images, and then why don’t browsers (all clients, really) automatically hyperlink these images to their embedded links? This helps us preserve the wonder that are hyperlinks in our futuristic behavior of image sharing.
Note: I realized when forming the title there are already solutions that do something like this, but I guess I was thinking of something a little more easy and automatic.
