Ok this is prob a very dumb question and will give me away as a noob but is there some trick to creating basic geometric shapes in Flash. ie octagon, hexagon…
i can do this easily in photoshop but can’t find an easy way to do it in flash yet, sorry if this is a dumb question but i can’t get it to work.
do a search for hexagon I just explained that earlier in the week
octagon:
make a square. Copy it and paste it directly on top of itself (paste in place) and rotate it 45 degrees. Now either cut off the outside lines of the triangles made or, with the line tool, connect the corners of the squares and you got yourself an octagon.
