I don't have a kirupalab submission yet

…so kirupa, do you mind adding this classic i found on my harddrive? let me know so i can write the paragraph on it.

arigato.

Hey thor!
Sure - it looks nice  You may want to adjust the width and height to 445/310 to match that of the other animations. Write up the paragraph, and I’ll add it up shortly.

Cheers!
Kirupa :rambo:

btw, your SWF under your usertext wasn’t loading, and that was causing many of the threads to freeze. I changed it to a regular text, and here’s the code for you to add once the vt server is back up

< embed src=http://filebox.vt.edu/users/mdimatul/swf/title1.swf wmode=transparent menu=false width=105 height=10 >

Cheers!

here:

This is a fairly old experiment of mine that dealt with easing motion. This creates random circular patterns rendering a spiral-like trail. The first duplicated instance follows the motion of the mouse, and each successive instance follows the one before it, creating a nice fluid motion.

If you look at the code (contained in the ball in the center of the stage), some of the variables don’t have any relation to their true function. I tried explaining every line of code that may seem mysterious. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me (mdimatul@vt.edu) or find me on the forums.

oh shyte, thanks for bringing that to my attention…

That’s awesome man. I love it.

Yes, I remember that one… It’s definitely one of the best trailers I have ever seen =)

hey k-dogg. before you add my lab sub, can you replace the file with this one? i updated some variables and fixed some bugs.

arigato
:chinaman:

Hey Thor! Will do =) Thx for reminding me…I knew I forgot something, but I couldn’t quite remember it!

Cheers!
Kirupa :rambo:

Hey thor!
Here is your lab submission: http://www.kirupa.com/lab/thetrail.htm I am going to replace the Battle section on the home page with just a random collection of links and tutorials that get updated. I’ll make mention of all the new kirupaLab submissions there. Hopefully that will prevent regular users from thinking these labs are tutorials

Cheers!
Kirupa :ub:

thanks a lot, big-k!
right now i’m working on my next submission. not exactly sure what it’s gonna be yet, though…

Kirupa: You need to define the default background color of that page… I get a tain background and a big white block where the text is.

Oh yeah, the same thing goes for the FAQ items in the FAQ section of your site
