I have Magic Headphones

The strangest thing happened with my headphones today. I’ve been using them for almost six months now, and they have always worked normally. For some reason, when I used them on my iPod mini now, they changed the sound of every song. I can’t hear the lead instrument / vocal for any song. I can’t here the lead vocals for any song, but strangely I can hear the backing vocals. I thought it was only that, but I can’t hear anything that takes the lead, for example, a guitar or piano solo, it is just not there, but the rest of the music plays (the drums, bass guitar, etc). My iPod isn’t messed up, because I tried a different set of headphones and the songs sounded like they should. I used my headphones on my laptop and played the same exact songs (same exact file and everything) and this time the songs sounded normally, with lead vocals and all that. It is very strange, I want to find someone else with an iPod, and see if the “Magic” only happens with that pair of headphones and iPods. The headphones are by Sony, and the only thing I can think of that made this happen is that my headphones were in the iPod when it ran out of battery.

I actually don’t mind it that much since I have another pair of headphones with me. These Magic Headphones let me hear songs in a different style now, so that they are all instrumental (I don’t actually believe its Magic, I just wanted to sound cool).
