I suggest you start with the full flash site tutorial on this site, it will introduce you to the loadmovie action which is really important when buidling a flash site. If you encounter any problems then post them here. Here is the link to that tutorial.
yeah do that tutorial i used it when i made my first flash site its really good as ur post title says u want help designing all i can say is design is your own taste make it how u want to have it look around at some sites and see wot u come up with if u make ur own alterations. when u found summet u thinks cool if u dunno how to make it thats when us guys come into play.
