I need help!

hi there…would anyone know how to do this?

I have created a drop down menu… now I want to create a button. The button is to a rectangle but not includind the data that’s in the drop down menu…that way when mouse rolls over anywhere where the drop down menu is not, the latter will close.

so basicically a big rectangle…but with an area within that rectangle must not be part of the button…

I did that. Now i Have another problem thou.

Ii have the button, when i mouse over the menu drops down…once it’s finished dropping down, as soon as I move the mouse, the menu closes…

I need to be able to do the rectangle so that it doesnt include the area where my menu is located

Try using the “Hit” area in your button state. If you don’t know what that is, check here
