I am always polite to the police, but this is the last time I am polite to a police officer on a power trip like this one was!
good luck next time bro
Thanks, I have a feeling I might need it. I haven’t even been pulled over for almost 2 years and I have only been driving for a little over 3 years. The fact that this happened on a date pisses me off even more!
If there’s one thing my dad taught me about driving, is that if a cop ever pulls you over, start crying like a baby. Most cops don’t know what to do when they see a full grown man crying, so they’ll just say “don’t do it again” and leave.
That sucks though dan.
What you should do is go to the cops bar (i’m sure they’ve got on in phoenix). Then just try to become friends with one of them, and you’ll never have to pay for another ticket again.

this is a very good idea and very true you can get you police friends to erase yur tickets if its in a 3 day period after they gave you the ticket
One problem about making friends with them at a bar. When they find out I got in with a fake ID because I am only 18 that I will probably be spending more time with them than I would want to. . . .
one. no matter the case. never ever ever handle it without the police and insurance. this lady could claim she had whiplash now; and then sue you…it’s common man…i hate to be the downer…
now with the police involved; the insurance company will more than likely know about it…
you need to contact a lawyer to see what could happen because of the way you handled it…
also - something i didnt get, and im not being the jerk here…
but you said the car in front of you swerved to the right or whatever to avoid the car just sitting there…you then said you had 100 feet to stop - im not following how close you were behind the car in front of you, and then the ultimate braking distance-
also no matter what; if you hit someone from behind its your fault…i think the law will uphold the ticket…is it right? doesn’t appear to be- it’s the police officer’s discretion however and it is solely in their hands- as it should be. Oh and it is illegal to run a yellow light if you had plenty of stopping time-
just my two cents - i wish the night had gone better for you - i’m glad your date handled it ok; hopefully all will go well the next date too.
just be clear headed - talk to your parents or guardians about this and see what they have to say -
Hope for the best for you man.
Carefull on the rudeness …
Right or wrong … they’ve got us all by the short hairs …
they can and often do pull the Rodney King treatment and claim you swung at/lunged at them first - yadayada … then you’re in jail for assault, resisting arrest etc. +++++
(raising your voice in an agressive manner can be viewed as a prelude to assault)
… and you can’t be sure there will be a camera near by :!:
The best bumper sticker to have is one indicating Fire dept and/or police association affiliation … good-old-boys-club mentality is rampant with them
Personaly i think that COP had nothing to do that night like 60% of Cops in my town, they have nothing to do,no crime to go to,too full to get some more donuts(i should know i live down the street from a donut shop) so they say hey let’s find someone with a life or a date tonight and go **** there whole life up cause i have none.
Well cops showing up to court are a 50/50 chance… but there is a almost sure way to do it… and if not, u piss of the cop.
Try to find the name of the police officer, or if u remeber it.
Step 1:
Call the police department, ask for the officer, or try to contact the officer. Or just find out if he is on duty. If he is, say thank you and dont speak to him.
Step 2:
Keep calling, until you find a day where he is off.
Step 3: schedule the court on that day.
Step 4: The cop will either not show up or if he does, he is working on his day off, he will get pretty pissed!
You have to schedule it in advance. . . .
Yeah, do it in advance on that day…!
