Hi!
Im new to Flash and im making a site with Flash CS4, AS2. I have built the site with labeled sections. In all of the sections i have a menu (Main Menu) which consists of seven movieclip buttons. By pressing these buttons you move to other sections in timeline.
In one of the sections (Section X) there is also another menu (Second Menu) which consists of five movieclip buttons. When entering the Section X movieclips of the Second Menu and the Main Menu are animated to slide in to the section.
My problem is in the Section X. I need to make the movieclips of the Main Menu and the Second Menu to rewind back to the start point of their animations when i press the Main Menu buttons. The same buttons should also be able to go to other sections in the timeline. So the rewinding should happen first and the moving to the other sections after that.
In brief: the Main Menu buttons should have functions to first rewind the main timeline movieclip instances, wait until it has happened and after that go to the sections they are programmed to.
Does anyone know a action script to make this happen, or is this possible?
