hi there. as part of my uni project i am creating a simple sequencer in flash but i have a problem.

everything works as is supposed to but i feel its a bit glitchy

basically, if you preview movie or save movie as swf, you will notice the more sounds you add in the more ‘laggy’ it becomes and it begins to miss beats and/or mess the rhythm up. I dont really understand why its doing this can anyone help? I thought flash was supposed to be powerful, surely it can handle a couple of wav’s? There are many sequencers out there that work perfectly, is there something in the fla thats lagging this? can anyone please help me i dont want to carry on working with this if the problem cant be fixed.
does anyone know any other tutorials/source files for flash sequencers?
