how do u make a funky icon for broswers like the kirupa apple? Its a great touch. I want one!
you make an icon and save it as favicon.ico I think, it’s a while since I’ve done this, that makes it work sometimes but I think othre times you have to make a link to in your header, something like this

I guess I got it mostly right… :P, but then again, I barely read any of that site
it’s a basically a bitmap, it’s just that graphics packages like photoshop can’t export a file with the .ico extension. have a look for ‘Iconforge’ (think it’s a free trial, can’t remember??), make your 16 pixel x 16 pixel graphic, save it as favicon.ico and upload it to your root directory…
