IE7 vs. Firefox

So fishingvideonetwork.com/index.php loads fine in Firefox. In IE7 it takes a long time. A REALLY long time, any ideas why?

-Note- It’s not just because IE7 is slow, there has to be some other reason! =p

it’s probably the javascript

IE + JavaScript = sloooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww

So we found out that it only goes super slow when loading the page in a new tab / window. Refreshing the page it loads super quick. All the other pages are fine when you go through links, even the index page is fine if you go to it from a link. Hrmmm.

You have like 5 missing files also, one of which being a JS file. It could be stumbling on those also.

And it loads really slow in Firefox also. Its also a lot of random PHP files being loaded in and swf’s. I don’t want to see mean but the system wasn’t thought out the best for the organization.

Your Firefox might have pipelining set to ture. So you can download more then one thing at a time, making it seem to go faster. While IE7 is downloading one thing at a time.

What missing files / random php? (I designed the site, bus. partner programmed it! :pirate3:)

And don’t worry about being mean, doesn’t bother me! I know the design isn’t web2.0 aesthetically pleasing, it’s not supposed to be! =p
