My Mom is having a serious problem with getting Internet Explorer to work on her laptop (an Acer Aspire 5100), and I have no clue what’s wrong with it. She just upgraded to IE8, and when she opens the program, it immediately crashes. She doesn’t want to use Firefox, much to my chagrin, and just wants to go back to IE7. How would she go about reverting to IE7 without a working browser? She tried doing a system restore to before she installed IE8, no dice. Has anyone else run into this?
