I'm done in Photoshop until I fix my PC's problems-maybe you guys can help?

Been awhile posting here-think I already asked for PS technical support about the same issue a couple of years ago, but it’s riddled with cusses and quite frankly I’m too ashamed to look it up.

So I’ve recently gotten WAY back into Photoshop, and ever since learning some new techniques-I just love spending hours digitally drawing and painting in it.

But then comes the contrast to it all-how bad my PC just plain sucks[it seems]. Everything seems all fine and ho-hum, and then comes the strange problem that support doesn’t seem to list a solution for-Photoshop ‘partially’ freezes. I can use the brush just fine and everything-but I click File and nothing comes up(in other words I can’t save), I try any shortcuts(Ctrl+S for example)and get an error sound with nothing happening. I click the dropdown arrow for different brushes and a partial window comes up, and finally, trying to close anything gives that dreaded Windows “error chord”. Try to open the Colors menu and of course good ol’-“This program needs to shut down…please send information…blahblah.” comes up.

Now I thought of a way to save it…taking it into imageready and then doing so-but the full process of doing this is-take into Imageready-wait for that to load(not fast given my PC)click file-save, close photoshop through Task Manager(can’t do it normally), then finally take back into Photoshop before I have to repeat the entire process again a few moments later-as you can imagine the ENTIRE creative flow is **killed.

**So guys, I just wanna know what the hell would make Photoshop go crazy like this. I long for nothing more than a seamless day of work in this program, and today’s just been the last straw. Thanks.
