i never ask my mommy for pc stuff… that’s the beauty of living on your own and having your own money.
well I am only 14 without a job so I have to ask.
well I could do what you guys said about hiding files and all but I still want to have my own computer.
Cause sometimes I have to get off because other people want to go on so yea.
Well, I’m only 15 and I don’t have a job… so yeah.
I do online things to make money, and do stuff for my parents. Plus, I save really well.
You can do that, too.
Nokrev, same here!
Up until '98 (Bondi Blue iMac) my family has only had one computer. (Always Macs.)
Then PCs became cheap and we moved over to them. (We hated them but it was the only way we could get multiple computers in the house.)
Now everyone in the family has their own computer.
Our family used to buy an insane number of computers, like one a year or something.
Then they stopped. Now I’m still using a Dell that’s 6 years old whose only unupgraded parts are the case, mobo, power supply, and floppy disk drive. Well, and the battery on the mobo.
I think I’m picking up a MacBook Pro and a semi-decent desktop this summer as well as keeping my current desktop as a server or something. We’ll see.
Wow… not rich or anything?
I got One decent computer in my room and my mum has one for business work:hitman:
It is not hard to buy expensive things. But you have to give up things you like. For example, don’t eat out very much, etc.
I am not rich at all, yet I’m sitting here wearing a pair of very expensive Japanese jeans that I really wanted.
If there is something you really want, and you don’t mind giving up the small expenses that are unecessary, you can easily get things you want.
lawl- that doesn’t work for me… even if I give up all my shizzle I still can’t afford it
Well, both my dad and I love computers, so that’s really what we buy a lot of. Several people in this thread have had the same number…
But yeah… I don’t like to think of myself as rich. It’s all relative. Compared to the people I go to school with, I’m lower. Compared to many people, I’m higher. It just depends who you’re speaking about…
■■■■, you guys are sick. what would you do with that many computers?
i’ve only got a desktop(rarely used athlon) which my younger bro and sis use
and a laptop which i payed 1/3 for:)
lol, too bad for you plastic forq:( tell your mom to quit touching your stuff on the computer or threaten her that you will crash it;)
lol Hybrid I could do that but I know better not to mess with my mom, I just rather get my own computer lol.
wtf, why do you want a dell !!??
Are you out of your mind ! :cantlook:
In my house we have 1 Dell (family PC), a Dell Notebook (mum’s work PC), Powerbook G4 12" (my laptop) and some crappy old Acer notebook that barely runs anymore.
And I have my new Maxdata computer in my Uni room
Told you it’d work forqy, just by the way.
Wowza… ^Nokrev does begin to smell :p… Also, geez that’s a hell of a lot of computers… How many people live in your house Nokrev? 6? 8? 9999999? :red:
Okay, fine… My families got 4 computers for the family… I’ve got two (One server… :)), dad’s got one, sister’s got one…
As long as its a Dell Laptop its cool (my dads got the E1705 with the 7800).
I’ve had my own computer for a while… although i had to share a comptuer sence i was 5 playing DOOM and Heritic till i was like 13 so i know what you mean now we have like 4 computers 1 of which is going to be changed into a server for Lans.
Oh tip when you get the compy put it in your room… it will keep them away trust me.
kinda off topic… but why do you call it a cpu? It’s a whole computer… not jsut the cpu
CPU = Central Processing Unit.
The word your looking for is PC.
PC = Personal Computer
… hope that helps PF.
PF = Plastic Forq
Is getting a job out of the question?
lol i was thinking this too, but I guess- a cpu computes, and therefore is a ‘computer’.
:-/
