When I load images to Flash from the library, the background stays. So instead of just the image, it’s the image with a black or white background. I’ve been told that MX doesn’t have a bitmap editor and I’d have to use something like Photoshop. So, tell me what to do in photoshop to isolate the image away from any background please?
I use either Photoshop or Fireworks and save that file with a Trasparent Background as a .PNG file.
When I import it into Flash as a .PNG it keeps the transparent background.
Their might be other tricks I am unaware of.
Right then. I’ll try it
Er, I made the image with MS Paint though…does that make a difference?
If you are going to be serious about Flash or the Graphic Design fields you really should think about using the “Industry Standard” software.
My rookie vote would go to using Photoshop and or Fireworks.
I’m not sure if MS Paint would do the trick.
open the image in photoshop choose the magic wand tool select the background i hope its all in 1 solid color then delete the selection if not you can always use the extract option theres diffrent ways of achieving this try looking in the design section of the forum and check out the resources links you will find tons of usefull info there
