Not sure which exact board to post this since its a general flash question. I’ll post it in here since maybe this has to do with some now flash 8 technique I’m not aware of. On this photographers website (http://www.sorenhald.com/), once you select a photo to zoom in on, the zoomed in version is at first a low quality version. The high quality version then loads and is displayed.
What I’m wondering is if this is just a matter of using two photos saved in two different quality settings or if there is some way of using one high quality photo and loading it in with two different settings?
Maybe this relates to the Havaianas website (http://www.havaianas.com.br/), which once you drag the site around all the artwork seems to distort in order to drag easier.
