Sorry, I know there are a ton of threads on this. I’ve got images ‘cracking’ on this flash animation:

I’ve tried breaking them apart, resizing to even numbers, making sure they’re on even pixel coordinates, etc etc.
They don’t ‘crack’ until converted into a symbol.

Any ideas?

just an idea, but have you looked at the publish settings in Flash?
On the menu:
File // Publish settings // Flash
take out ‘compress movie’ and up the jpg quality?
The images actually looked ok on here…what do you mean exactly by cracked?

Thanks for the reply, I’ll give the compress movie settings a shot. The images in the library are all set to png. I thought that would keep them free from the compression.
