guys, I will be the first to admit that I am a newbie. I am trying to get into the ever so complex world of flash animation. I really need some help here. I have been looking around and I havent been able to find any tutorial that can help me so here I am, begging your help.
I have an image, lets say, for instance, like this:
and I am trying to figure out a way to animate an image wipe. I have seen a similar process done with text (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/lightingmask.htm). What I am trying to do is make it look like a ray of light passes over the image and you see the two guys and the logo for just the duration of the wipe. I am figuring that is has to do with a mask but I am totally lost. Here is the image that I am trying to wipe on:
could anyone out there help me? Was I diescriptave enough? PLEASE, I would be eternally grateful.
