Importing Images

Ok, so i want to import an image from photoshop into Flash. I used .jpg but when i export the movie, the quality of the .jpg decreaces, it goes all blotchy and wierd, even after i set the JPEG quality to 100 in the export window thing. How can i make it perfect quality? Do i have to externally load the .jpg? If so, how do i do that?

I have also tried doing it to .gif but that came out even worse than .jpg.

Thanks

PNG works well for me, use 24 bit PNG in PS. Only problem with PNG is they are HUGE if they contain lots of differnet color patterns, etc. So if this project is for the web, don’t use em.

did you select maximum quality in photoshop when u exported the .jpg? also check that the image doesn’t have fractionary x, y and scaling values

importing the image would result exactly the same

when you go to export the file in flash, check to see that the quality is up. this should help reduce the problem. But when the quality increases, so does the file size.

Hope this helps you out:)

Iv done all that, the image quality in PS is set to the highest (12) and the same when exporting flash. It still dosent look the same as when you view the image on its own or in photoshop, not as good quality.

go to the Library palette, then right click on your image and open the properties menu, there choose impoted jpg setting or just change certain things there and that should take care of it.
