Hi there!
I’m still a novice in Flash and I’m no good yet in the techniques in dealing with it yet. I hope somebody is kind enough to help me out solve this video problem of mine…
I was tasked to make a tv ad in the campus… I used to stream videos for the ads… edit it in adobe premier and play these videos in a media player, allowing the video to stream one movie after the other. But my bosses wanted something different. They wanted to add scrolling news at the bottom of the video, somewhat like those seen in tv programs… news… where news advisories or advertisements (texts) would just scroll at the bottom part of the screen. This is quite quite tedius in Adobe Premier since it doesn’t have a scripting feature. Editing news updates time after time isn’t that convenient, so I tried using flash and tried the news flasher script tutorial I’ve read in the Kirupa. (It was cool!) It was already working though, except that my videos are really heavy. So I tried using the sorenson spark video compressor and from 73Mb of video size it lowers down to 26Mb, yet everytime I export the movie to EXE file it displays an error message saying that my memory is not sufficient to support the process but I have 1 GB of RAM. I don’t know how to deal with this… I’m not sure either if flash mx is the software best suited for this kind of project. I hope anybody can advice me on the best thing to deal with this… Thanks for the kind-hearted multimedia wizzard in advance!
