I’ve created a three-frame preloader for my Flash movie (frame 3 is just a play button for when the whole thing is loaded).
The problem is if I place a sound clip on the preloader (even within a movie clip), as the loading loops between bouncing from frame 1 to frame 2 and back again, each time it does so, a new instance of the sound clip begins to play. Several seconds in and it’s just a constant murmur of annoyance.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as for how to make a sound play in a preloader, looped, but not infinite instances?
