I am making a folio to get my name and design work out there… This will be presented on CD so I am not so concerned about file size but want the folio to run smoothly at 30fps.
I have a Main file called which contains the background, then within the actionscript on that file i load several seperate movies about 4 or so. Having all these seperate movies loaded in at the same time seems to be slowing down the playback on the file when exported. Is there any info out there on optimising out there can guide me as to make this file run at its standard rate of 30fps???
I have one file which loads this 3d interactive cube in the bottom left corner of the movie, this is 6.85MB alone, I must have about 80 seperate PNG frames which make the animation of this cube all work.
the 6.85MB file is uncompressed at this stage. If i compress that down to say 1MB will that make the file run faster? as the file still has to perform JPEG compression and so on right and still play all the frames.
So, yeah just some general information on optimising images/animations, compression, actionscripting, anything to boost the speed of my folio, any help will be useful to me…
Cheers, hope u can help!!!
