I’m making a tool, which requires people to score for example a list of 20 items on a five point scale (1-5). This is fairly easy to make in flash (although I dont know how to incorporate checkboxes, which might also be an option…). However I want to process the scorings to calculate one or several avarages. Question 1: How can I transform the input (from either a fill-in box or a checkbox), to the output that I require (the avarage)?
When these problems are tackled, I might decide that I want to save this informtion. Question 2: How can I export or save the results, so that the outcomes dont get lost?
When I’m able to realise the questions that I just posted, I will be able to make a much better tool than the one I now have made (in excel). As of now it does the work, but doing it in flash will increase its power and usability.
